Completed MBBS as well as M.S. from the prestigious St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, ranked among the top 10 medical colleges in India. He was awarded the best outgoing post graduate. Following that he has worked as a Senior Resident in the department of Minimal access and Hepatobiliary & Pancreas Surgery. He further worked as senior resident at GMC.

As a senior consultant in Hospicio, Margao he successfully performed more than 1000 surgeries a year, and established the department of Minimal Access Surgery.

He also has wide experience in Cancer Surgery, Especially colorectal  surgery through minimal access. He was awarded a fellowship in advanced Laproscopic surgery from Paderborn University, Germany, one of the centers of excellence in Laproscopy. He is one of the few surgeons trained and performing laparoscopic bariatric surgeries including bypass procedures.

His passion also lies in teaching and has been continuously associated with various academic activities and training programmes. Dr. Rudolf as our full time consultant for the past 7 1/2 years , has successfully performed many advanced and complex surgeries including life saving surgeries in trauma through minimal access.
